Missha – Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask – Lotus Flower [Review]

Hi guys, this is my first review here and its for Missha – Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask – Lotus Flower.

I’ve bought this mask in a batch of 3 sheets for 5$ at the Missha store in my city.

It claims to:

“Hydrate skin and make it look clear by soothing irritation.” (as written on the packaging).

Ingredients: Water(Aqua), Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Alcohol Denat., Allantoin, Betaine, Caprylyl Glycol, Saccharomyces/Nelumbo Nucifera Ferment Extract Filtrate, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Chlorphenesin, Hydrolyzed Chitosan, Phenyl Trimethicone, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Fragrance(Parfum), Trideceth-9, Phytic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Eriobotrya Japonica Leaf Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sucrose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Mineral Salts, Hexadimethrine Chloride, Ethylhexylglycerin

Unfortunately whatever it claims is not exactly what happened.

Like any normal sheet mask you apply it on your face and leave it for around 15 to 20 minutes.

—————–

The first time I used it it left a light burning sensation after 15 minutes of use. The burning was more on the areas such us: under the nose and some cheek areas.

I brushed it off the first time and wasn’t alarmed much.

After couple of weeks I used it again. My skin had some pimples and was slightly irritated on its own, so I decided to try this mask out (since its meant to be soothing) (I am an idiot and forgot about the burning last time).

What happened afterwards is that the inflammation reoccurred and was burning my face. After I finished up my routine, the burning was so much that the cooling products could not calm down my face enough. My Aloe Gel cooled down my skin a bit, but it was still burning for a long time.

Verdict:

1/5

I’ve used better masks, and this burning is very annoying and not fun at all. Will not recommend.
